Each Hessian Sack contains 4 kilograms of Bokashi One Mix.                                      

The Bokashi One Mix is made here in Australia using a mixture of wheat bran, rice husks and sawdust that have been sprayed with a group of micro-organism that exist freely in nature. Bokashi One Mix is freshly made all throughout the year by our team in NSW, Australia. This ensures that it is bursting with life and ready to get to work on your food scraps.
The dry ingredients in the mix are simply a carrier and food source for the micro-organisms which are dormant when dry in the packaging and activate again when added to your waste. Our premium mix is thoroughly dried before being bagged. The drying process puts the microbes into a dormant state and allows the Bokashi One Mix to be stored for at least 2 years. Because our mix is dried in controlled conditions this ensures that the microbes remain healthy and ready to work for you. Too much heat and/or direct sunlight can harm the microbes making the bokashi mix ineffective.

Bokashi One Mix ferments the waste in the Bokashi One™ Bucket, eliminating unpleasant odours. When the waste is buried in the soil, the mix accelerates the breakdown of the waste and adds life and nutrients to the soil.

Bokashi One Mix can also be used as a great compost starter!

The hessian sack has many uses and can be used multiple times, it is also compostable. While it would take up too much space in a Bokashi One Bucket, it could be cut up and buried or added to other composting systems. The hessian sack can also be used a mulch, it will help with moisture retention, it can also be used when germinating seeds and as a worm farm blanket.

• Beneficial Microorganisms fermented with Molasses, carried on a mixture that may include: Wheat, Bran, Pollard, Rice Hulls and Sawdust. 
• Please note: Mix contains living microorganisms. 
• Ensure contents are kept dry in a sealed bag or airtight container.
