Post from Yahoo's em-farm-ind group

Dear Vinny,I have worked with EM in my garden plants and I have observed amazing results that hopefully we can get rid of chemical fertilizers and pesticides completely which is destroying our planet.I have treated my organic kitchen waste with EM bokashi and I'm using them as fertilizer. I'm very proud of the results not only of the quantity it produced but also the quality with regards to taste, size, nutrituinal value and shelf life. I'm not a farmer but only a small hobby gardener and I have observed all these good things happening in my garden. One important observation I had is with regards to the treatment of organic kitchen waste. Before, I used to burry my organic waste in the ground and waited for at least 6 or more months before I can use them as compost fertilizer. But since I use EM, I placed those treated waste from my kitchen directly next to my plants and the resuls is amazing. Before I can't do that because plants will die. I later found out that methane produced from decaying organic matters is causing the death of the plants. Therefore, EM neutralizes the methane or may be consumed them, thus no methane is emitted to atmosphere.According to US Environmental Protection Agency, Methane (CH4) is a greenhouse gas 20 times more effective in trapping heat in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide (CO2) that causes global warming. This is emitted to the atmosphere from the decaying organic matters from landfills and many other human influenced sources.I don't have any detailed scientific study to back-up my theory but my observation. Don't you think EM can be the solution to global warming by neutralizing methane and other greenhouse gases from our atmosphere? EM did that in my garden, may be it can do the same if we spray EM to the atmosphere.I encourage and challenge people in this field to study and experiment further how EM can help prevent global warming and save our planet from destruction. Respecfully,Juan A. Franco Jr.
